Associate
Cathi Coridan is president and chief executive officer of
Network4Nonprofits, LLC, specializing in providing
consultation, project management, training and technical
assistance for human service and education programs to
enhance the effectiveness of fund development, human
resource development, risk management, transition
management, leadership training and Board development.
Cathi has more than 30 years of
experience in all facets of human services and education and
faith-based agencies.
From 2002 through 2007, she served as the executive director
and member of the board of directors of Mount Saint John,
Inc., a comprehensive residential treatment center for
adolescent males located in Deep River, Connecticut. Prior
to her work at Mount Saint John, Cathi held a variety of
national behavioral health policy and program development
positions in Connecticut and the Washington, D.C. area.
These included director of corporate development at ETP Inc.
in East Hartford, Connecticut; senior director for substance
abuse programs and policy at the National Mental Health
Association in Alexandria, Virginia; and associate director
of the National Association for Children of Alcoholics in
Rockville, Maryland.
Cathi has provided consultation, writing and training
services for the Center for Media Literacy, the National
Federation for Catholic Youth Ministry and the National
Council of Churches. Her early professional background was
as a counselor, clinician and educator in the areas of youth
and adult behavioral health. She worked in residential,
community mental health and outpatient settings in the
Washington, D.C., and Columbus, Ohio, areas from 1974 until
1995. Additionally, she conducted student assistance groups
in the local school district and developed and taught the
pastoral counseling curriculum for graduate students
attending the Pontifical College Josephinum in Columbus,
Ohio.
She holds a master’s degree in psychology from Catholic
University of America and a B.S. in psychology from The Ohio
State University. She is currently enrolled in the Nonprofit
Management Executive Certificate Program at Georgetown
University’s Center for Public and Nonprofit Management in
Washington, D.C.
Cathi is an outspoken advocate for children and
families—especially those whom the system forgets. She is a
board member of the Connecticut Association of Nonprofits.
Cathi is also a member of the Connecticut Chapter of the
Association of Fundraising Professionals.
She and her husband, Ned Hogan, reside in Portland,
Connecticut, with their two Westies, Chippy and Zoe. Cathi
is active in her local parish and loves to travel,
especially on cruises, and is an avid reader.
